Getting the experience

I have relocated to Kansas City and have landed a job at a fast-growing e-consultancy.  Working as an assistant, I’m learning the ins and outs ofcopywriting, social media marketing and project managment.  In my free time I like to help plan local tweetups, volunteer to TESOL and immerse myself in the city culture.

Writing it all down

I’m soaking up the knowledge of my tech and geek friends, and have been perusing the philosophies of people like Rands, Chris Guillebeau and others. I’ve recently been inspired to research the local history of Kansas City, Kansas and to put together a local community blog.

Planning the next trip

New Zealand, here I come!  I was self-diagnosed with wanderlust a few years ago after  I spent a summer living in Xi’an, China while teaching English to kindergartners.  I’ve also traveled within the US,  mainland China, Hong Kong, and Japan.  Now my next destination will be to head below the equator.
